Dr. Amy Li and Dr. David Barabe
We are focused on establishing long-term relationships with our patients and welcome families of all ages.
Dentures can offer a great option for replacing teeth in one arch. They can provide chewing abilities that are lost when teeth are missing. Dr. Barabe works closely with a dental lab to make sure that the denture is both cosmetically pleasing and functional.
Working from the inside out, the active ingredients found in Opalescence gels penetrate through enamel to break down the discolored portion of your teeth, while removing stains and brightening your smile.
Implants are a good option for replacing missing teeth for many patients. Over a period of several months the bone forms around the implant, securing it in place. When the healing process is complete, the crown is added.
Similar to a mouth or dental retainer (which is designed to keep teeth from shifting out of place), an Invisalign® aligner is used for orthodontic treatment as a technique to move and properly align teeth for a beautiful smile.
Crowns can be made of various materials such as ceramic, silver, gold, or porcelain. Crowns are done to give the tooth the needed strength to function properly. A bridge may be recommended if a patient is missing one or more teeth.
When the nerve inside of the tooth is injured or diseased, it can start to die. The dying nerve can lead to infection around the tooth which causes pain and sometimes swelling. In most cases, the patient is given an antibiotic to fight the infection. The infected nerve is removed and the canal is irrigated and cleaned out.
Occasionally, a tooth may have too much damage to repair. When this occurs, an extraction is recommended. Periodontal disease (bone loss) around a tooth can cause the tooth to require an extraction. This helps keep the disease from spreading to surrounding teeth.
We create a custom oral appliance, designed to fit your mouth comfortably that gently shifts your lower jaw forward. This slight shift in the position of your jaw is enough to keep your airway open, allowing you to breathe easily throughout the night.
